Yesterday marked the first official day of our 7 week break. Over the past last weeks of school a few big things have happened. First of all, Rachel and Brad (Scott's sister & her hubby) had their first baby girl Lucy July 16th. She's a beauty! I got in a car accident (my first one) the Wednesday before the last week of school. It was not my fault (thank goodness), no one got hurt, my car was damaged more than hers, and we don't have to pay anything. Currently we have a rental car while our car is getting fixed. Scott got 2 jobs for the summer break and is working one in the morning and the other in the after noon. We finished classes with a bang! We went our usual dumpster diving at the end of the semester. So far so good, yesterday we hiked R mountain once again and watched the sunset with my brother Brian. How romantic! ha! We have several things planned for the break. For me it includes deep cleaning our apartment and getting a tan. In August we will be going to Utah for Lucy's baby blessing, my mom will hopefully be coming up for a visit, and then Scott and I will be off to Missouri for a week. Did I mention that our 1 year anniversary is coming up? Yes in less than 2 weeks Scott and I will have been married 1 year! I have a special surprise for him but no one knows...well, he doesn't know. So I will not be disclosing that information right now. Anywho, life is a ball!

4th of July
For the 4th, Scott and I drove 13 hours one way to surprise my mom! She had NO idea!!!! This is the video Scott got of us surprising her!
