I picked up Scott right from work on Wednesday July 3 to head down to Atlanta, GA. It was a smooth ride down, hardly any traffic with the amount of cars that were on the road. We got into the Western's house at about 11:30. That same night Scott's parents and 2 youngest brothers drove in and my mom flew in (but stayed at the Waterfall's).

Thursday morning we picked up my mom and all of us (Western's and Smith's) caravan-ed into Atlanta to the CNN building. We got to take a tour with David Waterfall who now works there. It was such an awesome tour.

Addilyn was going crazy during our tour and it was hard to keep her contained. We got home and people took naps (except Addi) and then we went swimming. It decided to rain on us in the end. But we still had fun.

It seems July 4th is always raining, even outside of Washington (which for the record, had a perfect sunny day). Friday morning we all went to Kennesaw Mountain and the family went hiking except for my mom, Levi, and me. We enjoyed the visitor center and chatted.
I got a call saying that we needed to go and pick the kids up and Cabo who were all dying from the walk. It was about 2 miles all up hill. We went ahead and got everyone into the van who couldn't make it down. After the hike people went swimming while I took a much needed nap and shower. Scott and Addi came home a little early from swimming to get dinner started. We made eggplant parmesan.

The Waterfall's came over for dinner and we celebrated birthdays- mine, Levi's, Gunnar's, Shirley's, and Isaac's. That night Shirley, Erik, Scott, my mom, and I stayed up playing Signs. It was a hoot. Mainly because my mom was confused the entire time :). Here are some pictures from our trip in no particular order. Mainly because I can't remember exactly what day we did/ate what!

Addilyn and Eila were soooo stinking cute together. They were running and jumping onto mine and Scott's bed in the basement. They were both only in their diapers and going wild. It was hysterical.
