Oh you know, it's only April
This sums up my awesome life. This year we have gone to Disney World, (this was at Daytona Beach), and NYC. We've changed wards at church due to a ward splitting and getting sucked in with boundary changes. We have lost some friends due to moving, but have gained new ones in other places of our lives. We've had opportunities to serve those in hardships and been overwhelmed with blessings. So if I'm not blogging, it's all good. Because we are. Good that is.

2016
This past year, 2015 has been eventful. The biggest highlight was when we had Ryder. Then Addilyn having mono. We had life changing moments- Addilyn going into preschool. Ya ya ya..preschool big whoop. But really- It's a new stage in my life as a parent. We actually have a set schedule. Scott also switched jobs- he still works for B/E but with a different group and building.
2016 will be another fun year! Disneyworld, NYC, a cruise....to travel is to live! Addilyn will start Kindergarten (and I'll really melt down). Levi will be 3 and will start up a real co-op preschool again in the fall. And my baby will turn 1!!

whooops...
I SO wish I could go back and dedicate a blog post to all the exciting and fun things that we have done since my last post. Life sorta got in the way a bit I suppose! Let me do a run down of what has happened the last 4ish months/last of 2015...
August:
-We did as much as we could before our new schedule would start up for the fall. Things like swimming, games, museums, basically anything and everything.
-Addilyn started PRESCHOOL. I totally melted watching her leave and made Scott SWEAR to me that he would take a picture of her every move going to the school and going into her class. He appeased me and maybe over did it...
-We joined the YMCA (huge deal for me...)
September:
-We drove down to Atlanta for Labor Day and crashed with the Western fam. We went swimming, met their newest addition Tru, went to a crazy parade in downtown, and the cousins played all together. So fun.
-We started painting our house. Ya. we did. But we got so rained out that our 6 week plan got washed out and we have to finish it in the spring. bleh.
October:
-Addilyn had a fall festival at her school that was so fun. They road horses, held a bird, and played carnival games.
November:
-Scott's birthday I surprised him by doing this totally cool ropes course. It was EPIC and totally fun. As he put it, I totally win at birthdays and put him to shame. bahahaha
-My dad flew in from Seattle the Thursday before Thanksgiving. It was so great having him here. He met Ryder for the first time and spent plenty of time playing with the older two and then holding Ryder. While he was here Addilyn had her first preschool program about turkeys. It was adorable. The highlight of his trip here was all of us going to the Renaissance fair. It was so cool. The best part was the jousting. The kids loved it all including the magic shows.
-We dropped my dad off and continued straight to, you guessed it, Atlanta again! Shirley's oldest daughter Olivia got baptized and her youngest Tru had his baby blessing. There was lots of family there!
-Ryder turned 6 months Nov. 26th
December:
-Addilyn had her Christmas program and she was the CUTEST THING IN THE WORLD. But really, her costume was the best. She was a dove.
-My mom flew in from Seattle and while she was here our project was potty training Levi. Which was a success.
And now here are pictures that I threw in to help boost this posts interest a bit.

Spring
Every weekend we have been having something planned in every time slot. With this nice spring weather Addilyn and Levi have been spending their time outside. I don't know how I survived winter! Levi has cooled it on consuming the dirt and now just wears it.
Our friend Chloe had her 4th birthday party and the kids had so much fun being trapped! We are so sad they are moving :(
After said birthday party we had a baptism and then went straight over to the Food Truck Festival in downtown. Oh my word it was nuts. People were standing in line for HOURS. We were some of them... The food was good but the festival is getting too big for it's location and such. Below is a picture of us finally eating our food.
Sunday we went for a walk. We met some new neighbors, blew dandelions and picked flowers.

2015
The year 2014 was a whirlwind. We did all I said we would in our post from last year (here). We sort of went a little crazy with the whole 'going out west' thing...and did it twice. Once in the summer to Seattle and we just got back from Los Angeles a couple days ago. In between these two trips we squeezed in getting a new doggy, Lily, and a Thanksgiving trip to Atlanta. Did I mention we go pregnant too? Wheew. Scott threw in a trip to London for work back in the spring and while he was gone I rearranged our bedrooms. We also finally got our second car which has been AMAZING.
This year, 2015, will be ever more exciting. In May we will welcome in another baby (boy or girl? I feel we will never know...) As far as I am concerned, that's about as much as we have going on for this upcoming year. We don't have any big plans as of now. Any traveling will be from people coming to us- like my mom after the new babe comes and my dad at Thanksgiving. We will do some home improvements here and there, like potentially our closet/nursery.
I hope that this year I'll be able to recommit to this blog. It's been slightly neglected due to our crazy end of summer and fall/winter. I love being able to look back and see all the things we've done and being able to reference it.
Anywho- short post, but needed. Next post should be one of the rest of our California trip. Yay!

What a week
What a week we had! It started with a surprise birthday party on Tuesday for our friend Sofia. (For some reason, my photos wouldn't upload from the party). Her family is originally from Costa Rica and her uncle made the most delicious avacado dip. I'm still drooling. It was a lot of fun! Thursday night Scott went out for a boys night to see Captain America at the $2 theater.

We roasted some marshmallows and the kids played both in and outside. We sure love spending time with friends!
After their house and after the kids went to bed, I went out for a girls night and saw Captain America as well. LOVED it. As with all these Marvel movies.
Saturday morning we were assigned to clean the building. After that we went home and had lunch and planned out Addilyn's bed. For the week that the kids and I are gone Scott is going to build her a bed. We then went out and got the wood and then headed to a birthday party!

Where to begin?
The month of June I stunk at blogging anything. So now I will begin my blog throw up of all the things we did in June! Have fun!
Addilyn played soccer with some of her friends for about 6 weeks. Our friend Sofia (below) wanted to do something small for her shy son and decided to do it for us. The first practice was pretty hit and miss. But after that, the kids really got the hang of it and got significantly better!
We had a ward BBQ which was also like a farewell to those families who are moving this summer from our church. Summer is a huge switching time for our ward because people are done with residencies etc and leave and those who are beginning move in. You pretty much can't introduce yourself to anyone until September.
There was a magic show at a library on the north side of town, right near where we first lived in our apt when we moved here. I'd never been to that library so it was a good excuse to go. It was a crazy morning, and we needed to get out of the house STAT. So I threw in the hiking bag and we went geocaching. It was along a trail that was behind the apartments that we had lived in.
I could not believe we never got these two caches. The first one was inside a tunnel and it was inside a fake spider...gross. So I didn't bother trying to get that one at the time because it was just me and the kiddos. The second one we found way up high in this tree. I couldn't wiggle it down and also thought it was too cool to not get Scott to see it. So we went to the library and then came back the area with Scott while on his lunch break.
Of course the engineer can figure out how to get it down. It was attached by a rope that you just had to get far enough away to help lower it down.
We've been finding some random blackberry bushes and picking as many as we can. Addilyn basically eats them all before we have a chance to get any.
I was in the kitchen and turned to see this. What a HANDSOME little guy. He pulled himself up and everything. Just playing away having a blast.
